Pento stopped keying payslips and benefits-in-kind forms by hand
Pento, a London payroll software company now part of HiBob, used Docsumo to read its clients' payslips and benefits-in-kind forms instead of retyping them.
A two-page P11D expenses and benefits form for one employee, tax year 2023–24, from a client's onboarding file. Docsumo read both pages as one form: a car benefit of £7,966.00, medical insurance costing £1,236.00, £240.00 of it made good by the employee, and total benefits of £8,962.00. Pento's rules passed, the form was ready for review, and approved data went to the payroll platform by API.
